I just got a Cricut off of QVC and love it already, but wish you could have the letters cut so they are connected together as one word like the sayings that come with the cartridges. Do they make such a cartridge?

As far as I know all the cartridges only have individual letters. Most cartridges offer some common words that are connected but you can’t just do any word. I understand that there is another machine that is quite a bit more expensive that allows you to connect the letters as well as download fonts from your computer but I can’t remember the name of it . . . Ah to dream . . .
Hi- What you are referring to is called welding, and the Cricut Experssion will allow you to weld ALMOST any font. It is the most expersive of the three Cricut models, but it is worth the money if you play with paper alot. Oh, by the way, it cuts fabric also, so if you know any quilters they would like it also. There is another Cricut device, (sold separately) called a Gypsy. If you buy a Gypsy along with ANY of the Cricut cutters (even the small original one) you will be able to weld your shapes and letters. However, buying both a Cricut and a Gypsy will set you back at least $550 if not more. But if you buy them from HSN you can buy both on flexpay, and only pay a portion each month. This is NOT layaway, you don’t have to wait until you pay it all off before you get the devices, you get them after the first payment, just like QVC. Happy welding!
