Scrapbooking Question- Anyone Own A Cricut Machine?

Are they worth the cost? And does anyone know of a place that has them at a good price? I have checked ebay but by the time you purchase the item, the insurance, and the shipping they cost more than in the store. Thanks for the help.

I looked into getting one but I just couldn’t justify the cost for what it did. I am happy with my Sizzix.

I don’t own one, I have a friend who does….she lets me use it all the time, so I honestly haven’t felt the need to go out and spend the $250 on it. I don’t know if JoAnn’s will let you use their 40% off coupon you can get in the mail on the Cricut or not, I know they did with the Sizzix, because that’s how I got mine. I’d call JoAnns and see if they will allow you to get the Cricut with the 40% coupon, and if they will, get on their mailing list, so you get the coupons!

I own one and it is great, if you don’t like cutting and want things simple this is the machine to get, it will replace alot of your scrapbooking tools and stencils. You can get it at stores like Wal Mart, A C Moore, Michaels Crafts and all these stores are on line and you can also go to http://www.provocraft.com and purchase it from them directly. Good luck and sometimes you can go to a small scrapbook store that offers classes and use one before you buy.

I have one and I love it. I use it for cards, scrapbooking and even my daughters’ school projects. They actually have them at the Walmart where I live (Sumter, SC) cheaper than I bought my from QVC. Just an FYI, they are supposed to be coming out with a new Cricut this year that cuts 12 x 12 sheets of paper versus the 6 x 12 sheets the original uses. But of course, the new one will probably be more costly. Good luck!! ;)
