Difference Of A New Or Used Cricut?

My wife wants a Cricut and I want to get her one, but she is talking about 2 different sizes, and seems to have no real preference on one over the other. I can get a bigger sized used one from a local private seller for about the same price that I can buy a new one from a store. What’s the better choice here? Of course physical condition and stuff like that, but is there something particular I need to look at if I buy a used one?

I would have them show you that it works, because some of the early cricut expressions had errors in the computery memory part that makes them malfunction. Expressions is the big one Create is the small one. The Expressions is able to be used for a lot bigger projects, but the only real difference is size. The sticky mats are more expensive for the expressions when you have to replace them, but again that is because they are bigger.

The newer version called the Expression cuts a much bigger surface. I would go with it. Just make sure all attachment pieces are with it. including the instructions
