I’ve never used a die cutter but I believe one can be used for my purpose.
I have 8.5″ x 11″ sheets of this special paper that’s about the same thickness as construction paper and I want to perforate shapes onto it so it can later be ran through a printer and the shapes can be popped out.
Any idea how to do this? Is there any die cutter that will allow me to make the template for the shapes on the computer and feed the paper through it, with the final product being a custom perforated sheet?
Thanks!
ok i’ve been using the cricut maciene for a while now and i’m having trouble finding a good type of glue or tape to use. right now i’m trying scotch scrapbooker’s glue with two way applicator. it’s working ok but i’m not sure if i’m happy with it.
do you have scal (sure cuts alot) also go to cricut.com then go to the messageboards. You can ask questions see what other people have done with their cricuts also. There are alot of different catagorys to chose from.
Hobby Lobby is now carrying both sizes. Wal-Mart might be your best price. You need to shop around, know the going price and if you see it lower on TV get it.
I aslo have never seen a coupon that can be used on the Cricut.
Micheal’s and JoAnn fabrics both have it too.
This video explains arranging and welding to create Borders and Frames for you Scrapbooking projects. This can also be done in Cricut Design Studio. This video is closed caption in english.
I was done checking my emails when I had a very nice surprise. I just found out that computerscrapbook.com is offering free scrapbooking supplies! What a great morning!
According to their website, some of their digital scrapbook items are free for a limited time. That includes elements, alphabets and fonts.
I have already download dozens of beautiful kits by Correen Silke and they are amazing! I just love her style. Take a look and hurry to get yours (who knows how long that will last…)!

Have you bought your Cricut Expression Yet? There’s time!
The wishblade is too much so please leave that out. I am really interested in the cricut, but I am looking for other opinions. I do not have any cutters and have never used one. I know for the cricut you have to buy cartridges, but what else do you need to buy that are “must haves” to use it? do you have to use cricut special paper or will any paper or cardstock work? I want to be able to cut fonts and make 3-d looking diecuts. there is some cutter that always advertises in the front of Creating Keepsakes magazines that makes super cute die cuts (people, animals, etc) what is that called and does the cricut make similar things?
