I love everything but the price of the cartridges. I received the Cricut for my birthday. It is absolutely an incredible machine. You do need the spatula which really ought to be included for the hefty price. To take care of the mat, first of all, buy a spare, but beyond that, keep it covered when you aren’t using it (especially if you have pets), and clean it with baby wipes (I had to go out and buy some since my children aren’t babies anymore.) I think the cartridges are great but felt that they cost too much. I did buy the Accent essentials and then Home Accents (solutions) cartridge but I object to the high prices of the regular line of cartridges. I finally bought Sure Cuts a lot. It works with all of the fonts on my computer. My son has Adobe photoshop so we have a lot of fonts. He also got the Cricut (using sure cuts a lot) to cut the woodwork fonts. All in all, the cricut is fantastic not just for scrapping but for so many things like school projects and the holidays. Two women at our church also have Cricuts so sharing cartridges has been great.

I love my Personal Cricut! It is very easy to use. The creative possibilities are endless. I have made decorations for fellowship suppers at church, made signs, as well as used it to scrapbook. It is a quick and easy to use machine. I highly recommend it!

It’s a great product and very simple to use. All you have to do is follow the instructions in the manual that comes with the machine. Once you get past the initial set-up which is not that complicated (all you have to do is insert the cartridge and the razor) and that takes about 5 minutes, you’re good to go.

Perfect for the average scrapper! I was looking for a basic cutting machine that wouldn’t cost a few hundred dollars. I also wanted it to be Cricut brand. This was a reasonable price and is perfect for cutting titles, shapes, etc. It also came with a basic font cartridge which suits my needs fine for now.
Amazon had the best price I could find online.
