I’m thinking about buying a Cricut and was wondering if you can make your own templates with the machine?

The machine can only cut out shapes and letters that come from the cartridge you put into it. You can adjust the size. but you can not put in your own shapes and have the machine cut it out.
You need a die cut machine that hooks up to your computer to do that and the Cricut does not have that capability.
