I’ve seen it advertised on TV and it looks amazing.
Do you use one, and what do you think of it? Will I be getting my money’s worth?

I’ve seen it advertised on TV and it looks amazing.

I got the small one when in first came out a few years ago, then I got the big one. I’ve ended up liking the Cricut Expression better, but you need space for it. I like the small one in the event I need to travel and take one out with me. The cost does add up too! I do use my alot but I teach arts & craft too (use it for card making; 3D paper crafts; scrapbooking).
Consider getting the larger one if this one works for you, and here’s why:
Some retailers sell the large Cricut Expression as a bundle and/or pkg. Prices varies depending on what is included in each bundle. The bundles include 2, or 3 or 4 cartridges, along with tools. So for all of these, it may be worth getting the pkg. to minimize spending so much later down the road.
Currently there are at least 75 cartridges out there. Each vary in prices from 39.00 to 89.00. I purchased my on sale. It’s the only way to go. Although I invested in many cartridges, I have found that use about 6-7 cartridges.
Consider joining a yahoo group such as “cricutcutter@yahoo.com”. Once you’re a member, you can ask a variety of questions. You’ll get a lot of responses and opinions to help you out with your choices (no question ever too silly). This was how I learned & made my choices. Additionally, I was also able to get a lot of resources and info. re: sales with cartridges, etc……..
Here are some websites that I had found out through this group, and some of which I had purchased from too (for the most updated products)
http://www.acmoore.com (good prices of Cricut bundles $349.00)
http://www.ohmycrafts.com (good prices of cartridges, i.e.: 25.00 @ cart.)
http://www.memorymakers.com
The makers of Cricut has websites w/video tutorials and you can also get a good overview of each cartridge too:

Lots of TMI, but hope it helps w/hour choices. Good Luck!
My sister in law has the expression and loves it. Uses it all the time. She even makes envelopes for her card making on it. but she took the time to play with it and learn how to use it and she has a space for it so it is out and ready to use.
wal mart has the cheapest price on it. before you buy really do a price check. I have seen it almost $100 more at some stores over others.
Hi -
I own it along with several of the Sizzix machines and I love all of them. The Cricut allows you to make different size die cuts. You can
purchase different cartridges for about $30 but there are alot of different designs that can be used.
