Any Provo Craft Cricut Users, Know How To Line Things Up So You Can Cut Out Journaling That You’ve Printed Out

I’ve wasted a ton of time and paper trying to figure this out. I have some printed journaling that I would like cut out in a shape using the circut. I cannot figure out what the placement should be so that the journaling is not cut off by the cricut or is centered in the shape. Does this make any sense?

I guess if you wanted to be absolutely certain you could do a practice cut on “waste paper” and then unload. Place your paper with journaling so that it falls within the area cut using your “waste paper” and then load the paper and “repeat last” so that it does the same cut again. I’m not 100%, but that is what I would try. Otherwise I would try Cricut.com. Very helpful message board for how-to’s and ideas.
If you are journaling by computer you could cut the shape out first then use that to set up your journaling so that when it prints out it fits within the shape. Then using repositionable tape secure the shape on all sides over the area where you printed out your journaling and reload the paper and print again. This time it will print on your shape. This similiar to how to print on ribbon strips.
    Hope that helps.
